This role requires an experienced fashion focused customer service / sewing machinist. Applicant must be highly skilled in providing exceptional clothing alterations, customer fitting and customer service.

This role includes clothing alterations, repairs, measuring, fitting and preparing garments for alterations, managing POS entries and ensuring the store is suitably equipped and presented.

Applicants will also need to have knowledge of current fashion trends, styles and body shapes to be able to help communicate and advise customers of options and best fit when required. This exciting position will be a gateway for future prospects within the company.

To be successful in this position you must have experience in:

• Clothing alterations and repairs
• Industrial sewing machine
• Customer garment fitting (for fashion alterations)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Communications skills (phone and face to face)
• Must speak, write and understand English
• Ability to work under pressure and be a team player
• Basic computer skills and POS experience a must
• Problem solving skills
• Dressmaking experience a bonus
